Data controller and purpose
Carlos Cortina, contact: carlosjcortinam@gmail.com. The form requests your name, email, subject, and message solely to answer questions about Awesome Engine.
Form status
The contact page indicates whether the service is enabled. When disabled, the site does not send the details you enter. When enabled, data is transmitted over an HTTPS connection to Firebase Functions and delivered to the contact email through Gmail SMTP.
We also attempt to send a copy of your message to the email address provided.
Abuse protection
The configured form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify submissions. The server checks the origin and fields, and keeps temporary technical records with an attempt identifier and a hashed representation of the IP address. It does not store message contents in the submission rate-limiting database.
Retention and requests
Received messages remain in the mailbox to manage the conversation. You may request access, correction, or deletion by writing to the contact email. Technical form records have an expiration date; their cleanup requires the TTL policy described in the deployment documentation.
Local preferences
Your chosen theme is kept in your browser's local storage under the key ae-theme. It is not used to identify you. This site does not include advertising analytics or mailing lists.
The language is indicated in each page's address. It is not stored as a personal identifier.
Providers and links
Firebase Hosting serves the site and may process technical request information. When enabled, Gmail and Cloudflare participate in sending and protecting the form. GitHub links take you to a service with its own privacy policy.
